Do you really want your next web site to blend in with the other one million hits produced by a search engine? Visitors are unlikely to remember your web site unless they remember either your design or the content it provides. Right now visitors are clicking away from your web site before they even get past the first page and your web site may be the culprit. In the span of a few seconds visitors consider the following and quickly decide whether they're staying or leaving.

• Site Navigation.
• Site Complexity.A few important areas that can quickly chase visitors away are site navigation or site complexity (ease of use.) Quite frankly, people like to find things fast! A hard to use navigation system or a confusing layout will most likely just make visitors want to jump ship in a hurry. Here at "Design by Treitner" I believe in keeping it simple so that visitors can easily navigate a web site fast. Another surprising area some sites fail to address is making its objectives clear. Simply put, when a visit or arrives they should be able to tell at a glance what kind of web site they're looking at and what exactly is being offered. I cannot count the times I have left a web site just because there were many broken links, a confusing layout, multiple missing images, or just too many page errors.
SCAMS, VIRUSES AND IDENTITY THEFT
These days you've probably seen some of the unbelievable junk that lands in your e-mails spam folder. Are you really sure that attractive offer or that request to update your account isn't a scam also? Most likely, while flipping channels you may have seen the stories about how the other guy fell for a scam or how this company or that one can protect your identity. Are you sure you really know the best tips or the best methods to protect yourself? There are many scams online these days and even sites offering web site design and/or development services are not above trying to pull a fast one on you. Here you will find an honest guy who is not afraid to show his own styles and his past work. Then again you also found one that will reveal the secrets many other similar sites use to con you into believing they offer more than they really do. I must admit that so far I have upset a few other web designers and developers (but especially developers,) by telling the truth. I hope to upset them even further by going into more detail then ever before to warn you about what many consider acceptable behavior at your expense. Fortunately for you, I am not one of them.
